This High Strength Steel Stamping Part is a sample of HONGXING’s automotive sheet metal manufacturing capability. The component is an Inner Rear Quarter Vertical Stiffener RH-LH, a structural reinforcement part used within an automotive body assembly.

Manufactured from 1.0 mm DPC330Y590T + GI 70/70 high-strength steel, the part combines formed contours, reinforcement sections, flanges, and accurately positioned openings. Its geometry requires controlled material flow, forming accuracy, and stable dimensional performance throughout production.

The component is produced using an Auto Transfer stamping process, with multiple operations including:

  • OP10 – DR
  • OP20 – TR
  • OP30 – TR + C / TR
  • OP40 – FO
  • OP50 – P1 + C / P1 + SEP

The transfer process allows the workpiece to move automatically between stamping operations, making it suitable for automotive components that require a sequence of forming, trimming, piercing, and other processes.

High-strength steel can present greater forming and springback challenges than conventional sheet materials. For this type of structural component, tooling design and process planning need to consider material behavior, forming depth, flange accuracy, hole position, dimensional stability, and production consistency.
